MC (Moving Coil) Cartridge: An MC cartridge features a miniature coil attached to the stylus. This coil moves within the field of a permanent magnet, generating an electric current. This principle provides greater sensitivity and more accurate reproduction of the sound signal.
2. Sound quality:
MC cartridges are generally considered to offer superior sound quality to MM cartridges. They deliver a more detailed, dynamic and precise sound, with better reproduction of high frequencies.
