A specially designed, semi-rigid tonearm made of dural-lu is mounted on a gimbal mounted on two horizontal sapphires and two vertical ceramics, equipped with bearings to eliminate friction. A moving coil cartridge delivering 0.5 mV is supplied with this arm; its body is made of ebony, and the moving element is equipped with an elliptical stylus.
